Motherhood is not always easy, not at all infact. All Mums have emotional moments and when i wrote this song I was having one of them. My health had taken a turn, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroid and I was seeing other Mothers in my group getting back to normal when I was getting more and more exhausted by the day. I went to the park with my son and was pushing him gently on the swings and this song came to my mind. I was allowing myself to have that emotional moment knowing that it was temporary, that there are highs and lows in life and that it is ok to 'feel' and express those moments with people we trust. I feel blessed that I can make music and get my feelings out, I hope that my music will also help other Mums to let go when they need to. Mothers need Mothering too and a nice warm snug blanket of love wrapped around them when it all gets too much.
