about

I wrote this song originally in 2001 before I had children. I was longing to have babies and was getting very broody. I was imagining what kind of lullaby I would sing to my babies and this song came to mind. It was quite special to be able to finally play it to my first born Zak while I was pregnant with him and after his birth. He still goes quiet when I play it and calms down age 9. I hope it

lyrics

The Sun And The Moon
Are Up In The Sky Tonight
At the Same time
they look down on you
and keep watch over your sleepy eyes
in your dreams
in your dreams
the heavens come down to dry your tears
in your dreams
in your dreams
you can imagine anything
the sun and the moon
are up in the sky tonight
imagine you have a swing that will carry you up
to their sparkling heights
so dry all your tears
the things that you love
are waiting patiently for you
try to be brave
and close your eyes
and let the adventures of sleep come to you
